Hi, thank you for your interested in joining Bonobo Network. It tells us that something about our community resonated with you.
If you’re seeing this page, however, it means that your membership application was denied. While we don’t have the bandwidth to tell each person why their application might have been denied, we do think it is important for you to get some form of reason or feedback as to why because we believe people can learn and grow and that’s what we’re all about.
The reasons for denying an application could include:
Low effort answers - you submitted answers without being particularly revealing about the ways you think about the world.
Answers that indicate you may have more to learn before you join our community.
Unanswered questions about a self-reported consent incident.
Poor reputation or previous incident reports.
Lack of cultural alignment around consent culture.
Lack of cultural alignment around diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Lack of experience in relationships.
Expressed sexually objectifying viewpoints.
If you fit into the just needed a little more education or effort category you would be welcome to reassess your answers, do some research, and take some time to educate yourself about certain aspects of the application and apply again in the future.
