Summer of ’79: Celebrating 15 Years of Bonobo Network
Bonobo Network is throwing it back to the year it all began: 1979 — the year Bonobo founder William Winters slipped into the world, destined to organize sex-positive community and host weirdly meaningful parties.To celebrate Bonobo’s 15th anniversary (and William’s 46th trip around the sun), we’re taking over a glorious 1970s mansion nestled in the San Rafael hills, complete with a massive swimming pool, panoramic Bay views, and full sexy-summer energy.This party has two acts — choose your adventure:
Afternoon Delight (12pm–8pm)Slip into your finest vintage poolside lewks (polyester swimsuits, short shorts, and striped tanks) and prepare to bask, flirt, and frolic. Expect:
Marin County-style hot tub hedonism with peacock feathers galore
Funky grooves by some of our favorite DJs
Aerial acrobatics by the incomparable Fou Fou Ha!
Dinnertime grub catered by Sol Food
Studio ’79 (8pm–3am)As the sun sets, we take it all the way to the disco — Studio 54 meets Bonobo Network. Expect:
